Energy Conservation awards 2006-07 were given in a function organised in the Conference Hall of Saibaba Colony quarters Campus Coimbatore on 15.12.2007 which was chaired by PGM Development Shri. VARADARAJAN. This was a unique function since Tamilnadu Circle was onceagain the first Circle in BSNL to institute "ENERGY CONSERVATION AWARD" to the best EE(E)/SDE(E)/JTO(E) for implementation of sustainable energy conservation measures. For the first time "ENERGY CONSERVATION WEEK" was observed in Tamilnadu Circle from 10.12.07 to 15.12.07. This function was organised by the Electrical Wing of Tamilnadu Zone under the leadership of PCE Electrical Shri.V.P.GUPTA. Following were the award winners:
